Welcome to another exciting year of music learning at Baldwin Music Education Center! For more than 65 years, we have helped families discover the joy of making music together through a carefully sequenced curriculum designed specifically for young children from newborn through age five.
Whether you are joining us for the very first time or returning for another wonderful year, we are delighted to welcome your family.

⭐ Five Things to Know Before You Register
1. Register Early
Classes are filled after the registration deadline. Current Students and siblings receive priority placement, and many classes reach capacity.
2. Choose the Best Class Level
Class placement is based upon developmental readiness, musical growth, and the Director's recommendation—not birthdays alone. If you are unsure which level is appropriate, simply contact us before registering.
3. Thirty Weeks of Music Education Classes
Thirty instructional weeks are scheduled throughout the Academic Year. Tuition is charged for only 27 weeks, and families are encouraged to attend every scheduled class.
4. Flexible Attendance
Life happens! If you must miss class, simply submit an Absence & Flex Form and attend another class during the same instructional week whenever space is available.

A Complimentary Music Experience for Newborns–9 Months
Every musical journey begins with a very first note.
At Baldwin Music Education Center, we believe music learning begins long before a child starts walking, talking, or singing. The earliest months of life are among the most remarkable periods of brain growth and development, and we believe every family deserves the opportunity to experience music together during this extraordinary time.
Many parents wonder, "Can my newborn really benefit from a music class?"
Sometimes babies sleep.
Sometimes they simply cuddle.
Sometimes they quietly observe everything happening around them.
Sometimes it doesn't appear that much is happening at all.
And that's perfectly okay. Because something remarkable is happening beneath the surface.
Week after week you'll begin noticing small but extraordinary changes as your baby recognizes familiar songs, responds to your voice, anticipates musical routines, smiles, babbles, reaches for instruments, and becomes increasingly engaged with the musical world around them.
Rather than asking families simply to trust us, we'd like to invite you to experience those first months for yourself.
Our Gift to New Families
Baby Beginnings: First Notes is a complimentary music experience for babies newborn through 9 months of age.
There is no tuition.
Simply register, select your preferred Musical Beginnings class times, and attend the classes that best fit your family's schedule. Families enrolled in Baby Beginnings are welcome to attend any Musical Beginnings class offered throughout the week, providing the flexibility every new family appreciates.
There is no pressure.
No expectations.
Simply a welcoming musical environment where you and your baby can grow together.
As your baby approaches nine months of age and begins participating more actively, they will naturally transition into our regular Musical Beginnings program.
We believe the greatest testimony to early music education isn't found in a brochure or research article. It's watching your own baby change from week to week.

Whether your child is just a few days old or preparing for piano lessons, Baldwin Music Education Center offers a carefully sequenced curriculum designed to meet children at each stage of development.
👶 Baby Beginnings: First Notes
Ages: Newborn–9 Months
Annual Tuition: Complimentary
Our newest program! Experience the joy of making music with your newborn during the first extraordinary months of life. Attend any Musical Beginnings class throughout the week at no tuition.
🎵 Musical Beginnings
Ages: 10–24 Months
Annual Tuition: $445
A parent-and-child music experience that nurtures early musical development through singing, movement, instruments, listening activities, and joyful interaction.
🎶 Music for Little People – Age 2
Age: 2 Years
Annual Tuition: $676
Children begin attending class independently while developing musical skills through singing, movement, rhythm instruments, creative play, stories, and hands-on exploration.
🎼 Music for Little People – Age 3
Age: 3 Years
Annual Tuition: $676
Building upon the Age 2 curriculum, Students develop greater musical independence while exploring singing, rhythm, movement, beginning music concepts, and introductory piano experiences.
🎹 4's/5's Encounters
Ages: 4–5 Years
Annual Tuition: $702
Our culminating preschool music program combines singing, movement, music literacy, keyboard skills, and musicianship to prepare Students for independent piano study.
Tuition Includes
✔ Thirty scheduled instructional weeks (tuition charged for only twenty-seven)

✔ Weekly Parent Discovery Guides
✔ Supplemental learning resources throughout the Academic Year
Families may pay the full Annual Tuition with registration or divide tuition into two equal payments. The first payment is due with registration, and the second payment is due on or before December 1, 2026.

Registration
- Registrations are processed after the registration deadline.
- Current Students and siblings receive priority placement.
- Please select both a first and second class choice.
- Placement is confirmed after class rosters are finalized.
- Alternate class options will be offered whenever possible.
- If BMEC cannot provide an appropriate placement, all tuition paid will be refunded.
